COVID-19 Response

Green Plains Provides Strong Leadership During COVID-19

Taking Quick Action in Response to COVID-19

The Green Plains Senior Management Team was quick to provide leadership and guidance regarding the COVID-19 crisis and reacted by showing care and generosity to Green Plains employees as the company shifted operations due to COVID-19.

In April, the Green Plains Senior Management Team provided each employee 40 pounds of beef to help reduce some stress of leaving their homes to get food. In addition to providing employees food, each Green Plains location donated the meat to their local food bank, paying it forward to the local community.

Green Plains has also been actively participating in helping to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Green Plains York has donated more than 40,000 gallons of FDA approved, FCC Grade industrial alcohol to the states of Nebraska and Iowa for the production of hand sanitizer. The finished product has been delivered to hospitals and medical workers on the front line.

Green Plains continues to show compassion and appreciation to their workforce by implementing several social distancing measures in the workplace, offering work from home opportunities for those who are able and remaining flexible and understanding.
